33BHP Restricted Licence
If you are 17 or over and have completed your CBT you can continue to train for
your full practical test on a 125cc machine. This for some people is the only
option because they are under 21. It doesn't't matter that the theory test has
not been passed at this stage however it Must be passed before you attempted
the practical test itself.
Once you pass the practical test you can ride any size (cc) of motorcycle as long
as it is restricted to 33BHP. After two years the restriction may be removed
without any further tests.This may change with the introduction of new Laws 08/09
