BMF BLUE RIBAND TEST

Our intensive course for experienced riders, with content based mainly on the Police 'Roadcraft' advanced riding system and manual and some tips from keith code.

Riders taking this course need to be used to riding for long distances, sometimes in adverse weather conditions.

Based on a three day format The 'Blue Riband Advanced Award' course starts with a detailed briefing pack posted to you, including the book 'The Assessment of Advanced Riding'. The theory pack also includes: 'Roadcraft' study guide (with emphasis on hazard perception, observation techniques, positioning, cornering, machine dynamics and overtaking

* Day one riding assesment & Roadcraft theory
* Day two on road training & highway code test
* On road training and Test.

Successful Blue Riband riders receive a badge, certificate and one year full membership of the BMF (including 6 issues of 'Motorcycle Rider' magazine) and may qualify for insurance discounts of up to 20%.
